A mixed materials recovery plant has been developed to facilitate the off-site sorting of materials. This plant allows for construction and demolition works undertaken on space restricted sites to facilitate resource recovery without having to sacrifice limited space to additional bins for on-site separation. As with the other plants developed at ACT Recycling, the mixed materials recovery plant utilises a wide range of engineering methods to separate materials. This plant is believed to be the most efficient recovery plant in the world and is capable of sorting concrete, green waste, timber, bricks and metal.
